I e-mailed them, and they offered to replace "parts", as long as I have receipts for them. First of all, how many people actually keep receipts for games for years? Secondly, they completely ignored my e-mail where I suggested that the problem probably lies with the software (it's kind of obvious with forums and instruments purchased seperately). Replacing "parts" won't solve anything. Are they THIS irresponsible? Man, I certainly won't be purchasing anything from EA in the future, this is the second time I got burned by EA.

I love how they make us spend so much money to buy the product that wont even work.

my guitar stop working and i cant get a replacement so i was wondering if any of u no if u can use a guitar hero guitar on rock band

I just got the game for my birthday. I was so exited when i got home i put the game in my ps2.It just says reading disk.I thought i had to wait so i came back 1hour and a half later and it still didnt read the disk.so i went to walmart traded in the cd and the new one didnt work either.

The disc that they sent me was already scratched when I took it out of the case, that was really irritating. The game is already freezing up on me, and doesn't even work half of the time. Plus, the guitar strumming bar broke after an hour's use. I like the game, but the quality of their products seems to be low, a real dissapointment for me. I probably should have stayed with Guitar Hero, at least they have reliable products.

I agree this is stupid... My drum pedal broke in no time... wasn't being rough or anything, also the mic just quit working. Then i come on the computer and see that everyone has been complaining about the same stuff.. I need to get a good lawyer and do something about this mess... its pathetic, if one person has the money to sue ea do it. or at least try to get everyone's stuff working properly and make a better product. use aluminum for the pedal maybe... and the mic i just dont know what happend to it.. was working fine we were having fun and then.. does not detect mic..

I am from canada north, i bought rockband and i was thrilled . i wanted everyone to get one , my friends and i had rockband parties, for 3hrs play? @ 180.00$cdn.
1st , drum pad , then guitar stum bar, Brand new out of the box 3hrs out.So, off i go to get warranty, ea canada... their attitude is sooo its a video game, run around run around...then ea starts on me i was too rough , i dont know how to operate my ps3,,5 weeks later.oh i also purchased 70.00$ online addon music, that same first night, that i played once!! ea are you getting this?????? So back to my issue, as i`m going threw the red tape, i find out that 26 units from my small area in northn canada are going threw this and worse!!!!!! broken drum pads, broken guitar stum bar , mel function, melfunction, all out of the box hours old??? well that`s it!! playstation has become a naughtoriuos money grabber, now ea ,guitarhero, rockband, have ripped the public right off !!No canada warranty service , slow responce, not standing behind their product, producing a cheap product, ea , harmamix and anyone else in vaulved also have a hugh attude issue on tih topic. My guitar power wouldn't activate and it made me pretty mad. I would go online and battle with people and couldn't win because they were getting star power points. I was about to return the whole thing back to wal-mart when I saw the number at the top of this page. Rockband Support. Call them. Great customer service. I got my new guitar comin in the mail now and all I have to do is stick the one that doesn't work in the same box and send it back. Simple!
Oh, and if your game is freezing like mine was I found that if you make sure your xbox isn't on its side and that the xbox isn't too hot it won't freeze. I stuck mine in the window sill and since there's snow outside it stays nice and cool.

Try to remember that technology and gadgets almost always go wrong. And it's just a game. Get the parts replaced or sell the damn thing.
I'll settle for replacements. :)

I bought it for 160.00 and the stupid Mike doesnt work!!! This sucks!!! Help me please!!

I had the game for less than a hour and my game freezes when i play the drums. I have tryed everything and nothing works. I just wish it would work, I want to play it so bad. I loved it at, first now it just SUCKS!

I had the game for 3 hours and the drums and the mic quit working. $160.00 for something that breaks withing the first 24 hours and then they want your credit card information to return the faulty merchandise quickly without a credit card you have to wait two to three weeks to get a replacement. They didnt have to wait two to three weeks for my money I am very very disappointed. Love the game just wish EA would have done better with the quality of the merchandise they put out and not just try to rush to get it out for the holiday season. Shame on you EA!!!!!

Same here, Guiter broke after an hour or so of playing. Just requested to return it. Hope I have good luck? The game itself is great

I have had the game for five days and love it but now my gutair is broke and I have to wait who knows how long for a replacment. This BS and they should have to refund all buyers

the Mike was broke right out of the box. then took three days to talk to a person in warranty. then another two weeks for a replacement. I still have not recieve an email that they promised me. wish me luck.

I had this out of the box for less than 24 hours and now my guitar won't work?! I have wailing on my GH Guitar for months and never had an issue. I thought this game was amazing....at least for the first four hours when everything worked. Now it's just dissapointing and depressing. I'm telling my friends NOT to get it until they fix this mess.

i JUST baught my game...and not even an hour later...the strum on my guitar didnt work...LAME!!!

Within the first 4 hours my drums stopped working. The next day my guitar wont strum. I love the game but this is just disappointing.

if i am paying $190.00 for this product i expect it to work for more than a day!!!
