Electronic arts has, and most likely will always be one of my favorite brands for game-making and they seem to have a true talent for making games that you just can’t stop playing until the end, which I have to say comes to soon in this one. EA has to be one of the most talented game creators, and it is shown in this game and in many other recent releases. Medal of Honor: Frontline is no exception in most ways, besides the fact that they seem to have rushed this a little.

Great Plan, not the best execution I’ve seen. The graphics are incredible in some aspects, but they tried to do too much and lacked quality. Some things look really nice and real, yet at times you notice poor looking moving and stationary objects. The things you see most of the time look very good. The people look great in the game and their facial expressions look great along with the movement of their mouths. I can’t stand people that mphhmphhmphh (talk without opening their mouths) in games, just because, frankly, it’s impossible. Anyway, the guns look terrific and the movements of things when actions occur really help you feel like you’re in the game. You know that felling you get when you shoot a bazooka at the enemy's tank, and you see it destroy them? Yeah, this game can give you that. Overall I like the graphics that you see on all those preview screen shots, but not the ones that you see when you play the game.

You start the game with instant action, which is so much better than those annoying games where you start up with a tutorial, and your not allowed to play the real game until you pass it. I thank EA for that. The game is very easy to get used to, the controls are setup well, especially how you can customize your own controller setup, but I’ll get to that later. The actual game is very fun and addictive, but if overplayed it gets boring. One thing that I can’t stand is that in a mission, you have objectives, and say there are 8 objectives, and you are done with 7 of them and you die, you must restart all the objectives. This is very annoying on some of the final missions, because there are a lot more objectives in them. Oh, and speaking of the missions, you are practically done with the game before the 10 day money back guarantee ends. The missions fly by, within one hour I was on the 8th Level, and there’s only 19 in total. So let’s change what I said before -- we’ll say you can finish the game before the day you buy it ends. Although I do enjoy the multiplier a lot, the levels are small and the weapons are pre-selected, with only a couple of groups you can pick from. The character selection seems to be something they’re proud of; it gets its own blurb on the back cover. I don’t get why it’s that big of a deal who you look like while playing, but I do like that you can be an old lady! It seems to be one of those games that are a big thing for about a month, but when that month is up all the game stores' pre-owned shelves are covered with them. The game has a few codes, which are pretty cool, if you’re stuck on a level or just for fun.

Right away you can get used to the game’s controls with a few adjustments that you can make yourself in the option section. The "R" button is what I like to use as a trigger and "L" for aim, with "A" for melee attack and "Z" for reload. "X" is used to jump and "Y" is used to duck down. The "C" and analog stick are used for looking and getting around. I really like the setup for the game controls, except that you turn around slowly, so it’s hard to get someone who’s shooting you from behind. Not much you can say about the controls, but definitely a good thing in the game.

S O U N D
The sound is odd -- the game does have a very nice range of sounds that are all timed extremely well throughout the game, but the sound seems to be made specifically for a very high price sound system. The game plays along very well with the noise, but without nice speakers, it sounds like too much is going on at once. I tried the game on my junky bedroom TV and it became even more apparent to me what was going on. I think they tried to make the game high quality in many aspects, but forgot the simple, but crucial things.
